Chapter Photos 2013

On Saturday, October 26th, the members of Citrus Ridge Decorative Artists and their guests were treated to a fun project taught by artist Kate Dowd. Kate showed up how to make a very whimsical, colorful and easy to do pin/pendant using Shrinky Dink!! Who knew??

We had more fun with this project. It was very easy to do, just coloring the project using a permanent marker and colored pencils. We added some crazy hair and earrings and she looks mah-velous!!!

Kate showed us how easy it is to take a pattern of almost anything and by tracing it out on Shrinky Dink, coloring it, heating it up and embellishing it, we can really makes fantastic works of art!!

We all enjoyed Saturday and wanted to give thanks again to Kate for a really fun project!
